sooo, turns out that the decision this client made has in fact (as I knew it would be) been great for me...not only am i doing more facilitation work in my own right, but recently was instrumental in winning a big piece of work for a new client that I'll get to co-design and deliver!
i'm still enjoying coaching for them, whilst it lasts...heard on the grapevine that beyond 2019, the program may no longer continue, so it's great that I am not as reliant on them as I was...funny that my internal voices had been telling me that some months ago! note to self: listen to gut!
i ran into a former facilitator colleague the other week...he was the only other facilitator to also be a coach...when we were talking it came about that he too had NO idea why the decision had been made either...so I wasn't the only one who wasn't communicated with...
funny how i took it all so personally in hindsight...
one of my all time favourite movie lines is 'it'll be alright in the end. if it's not alright, then it's not the end'...
amen!
