lights, camera, action...

or really, i should just say lights!

OMG seriously, i am losing it! so in early February (which seems like a LONG time ago now) my kitchen light broke for the 2nd time in months - actually, didn't actually break, but seems the starter thing which is supposed to be attached to the round flouro globe, somehow detached itself, unbeknown to me...

and me, figuring that a new globe had only just been put in, with a new starter thingy, just thought the whole thing had gone kaput and a new light was required...

well, tonight, looking in cupboard under sink for more kitchen roll, i find a spare globe and think, yep, i'll try that just in case it works...but before i get to that, i think, maybe it's just the starter? so find one of them and then when i open the light fitting, the existing starter has come away from the existing globe...

and a simple putting them back together again and the bloody thing works! we have light! can you believe that i have spent nearly 3 months with no kitchen light? all because i thought it would be good to 'not get it fixed coz that's what i should do'????

seriously, lights, camera, action it may be in the kitchen, but in my brain, methinks the lights have gone right out!

this could well be my first documented senior moment...

oh and the missing my stop on the train today! fuck, should i be concerned? should i start doing sudoku to keep my brain ticking over?

camera, yep, have one on my iphone
