my adorable little feline niece died yesterday :-( she was such a gorgeous little thing, and my heart breaks for my sis...
she would have been 15 later this month but her kidneys were failing and she was starting to suffer...
so they did the humane thing (strangely enough we reserve the humane treatment for animals and not humans!) and had her put down...
i applaud their courage and their love for her...and even though they knew it would mean she would be taken from them, they loved her so much that in order to prevent her from suffering, they chose her over themselves...
soooo to my beautiful, and favourite, feline niece....good bye, and thank you! thank you for being the cutest chattiest little puddy tat and always being happy to see me when i visited, and i hope that you will be united with our beloved miss jelly in cat heaven...
