seems a perfect setting to say a final farewell to my beloved, and much missed granda...
so yesterday grandma and i drove up to west whitton (this is somewhere my grandfather loved with a stunning view over the yorkshire dales, where he honeymooned with my grandma and where they spent may happy days throughout their 69 years of married life)...
so on top of Pen Hill, overlooking the dales, his ashes were scattered...
so i got to say my final farewell to him and i looked around and thought seriously, could there be a more beautiful and peaceful place to spend the rest of time?
i think not....yorkshire is, despite it's weather, one of the most beautiful places on earth and i love coming back here...the people too are lovely as is the famed 'yorkshire pudding'...
soooo to my granda, who i miss, i hope that your final destination is one that in your 'after life' brings you much peace and contentment, and i hope that forever more you are the 'wandering boy' your grandma used to call you...
